Last Thursday, April 03, 2025, Atty. Rizanne Chelsea L. Rafael of the Sadsad Tamesis Legal and Accountancy Firm (STLAF) discussed Obligation and Contracts (Oblicon) at the Quezon City University (QCU) online webinar titled, “Understanding Implied Terms In Contracts: What Accounting Students Should Know”, organized by the Junior Management Accountant Executives.
The webinar, open to freshmen through junior levels, aimed to enhance students’ knowledge of the subject and ignite their courage and passion in pursuing their studies and careers in accounting.
With a Juris Doctor from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) and experience in Tax Law, as well as handling land, civil, and criminal cases, Atty. Rafael comprehensively discussed the complex subject of Oblicon—the role of implied terms in shaping contracts, and the broader legal framework that defines and enforces legal obligations, giving the students a complete exploration of the complex subject.
